Villagers in Vietnam watch helplessly as a home is washed away by a landslide amid heavy rain.

Footage captured on August 30 in Thanh Hoa province shows the small home on the river's edge slowly toppling into the fast-flowing water.

The filmer, Ha Thi Van, said the area was hit by heavy rain that triggered landslides.

Fortunately, the inhabitants of the home escaped.

According to Ms. Ha Thi Van, Long lasting heavy rains triggered a massive flooding in the area. The house near the river was destroyed by landslides. People scream when they see this scene is terrible. Fortunately, people in the house escaped before the house collapsed. Heavy rains continue throughout this area. People worry when the mountains show signs of landslides.
People are quickly moving to a safe area before the hills can collapse at any time.
