A US tourist in Osaka, Japan, captured the devastation of Typhoon Jebi covering the city's streets.

In the footage, windows are blown out and vehicles are tilted sideways from the sheer force of the gale.

" At the beginning of Typhoon Jebi, the wind blew a bike over into the street. The bike was a danger to oncoming traffic so I went outside to move it so it didn't hurt anyone," said the filmer, Julian Andrade. "Moments later when I was still outside, the wind blew over a small truck onto another car."

"When we were at the truck, the window shot out the side of a building, shooting stone and glass at us," he added.

Typhoon Jebi left a trail of destruction after landing in the west of the country, killing 10 people and ravaging infrastructure.

Moments later when I was still outside, the wind blew over a small truck onto another car. Myself and a Japanese passerby went over to help push the truck over and make sure everyone was okay. When we were at the truck, the wind shot out the side of a building shooting stone and glass at us. Luckily only small shrapnel hit us and the larger pieces fell to the ground. The wind pushed over the Japanese man and I held tightly to the truck to avoid getting sucked into the strong winds. We began running back indoors for shelter, this is when I went to get my camera to document this event.

Located at Guest House Koma here in Osaka, Japan, the wind blew off the door of the hostel. I (orange Dragon Ball Z shorts with blue buttoned shirt) insisted on going after it as long as it doesn't go to far and the wind isn't too strong. You can hear the manager of the guest house, Jun Nishio, (blue striped shirt with black hat) call me back indoors saying: "It's too dangerous". Another guest from Germany (black Wacken shirt) and the manager followed to help me bring the door back inside. One guest from Argentina, Javier (bearded man with mulllet and tank top) claimed he had never seen this before and that he was "scared". I continued to step outside when the wind slowed down to capture the building next door as well as the vehicles and other damage around our area.
