Police and SWAT teams arrived on the scene of a shooting at a car dealership in Tacoma on September 6, where the gunman had taken several people hostage as he continued to make rounds.

According to local media, the activity was concentrated on Pacific Avenue and 134th street. The gunman stormed Sky Motors at around 8 pm, holding four people at gunpoint and taking one person hostage in the back room. Deputies were able to safely rescue the remaining hostage.

The gunman also fired rounds at deputies, shooting one officer who was not gravely injured due to wearing a full body armour.

He was later shot and taken into custody.

A guy went into Store with a duffle bag full of guns. He demanded a car & 4 hostages... all of which were safely released. Swat team arrived & hostage negotiator talked the suspect out. Turns out he was wearing body armor and may have been shot by police. He was not harmed.
