Man completes epic journey from John O’Groats to Land’s End
Colin Bell has managed to finish probably one of the hardest walks of his life. He completed a journey of a thousand miles from John O’Groats in Scotland to Lands End in Cornwall.
Bell started his trek in June and finished it on October 16 surrounded by his friends and family, after facing severe weather conditions as well as an unfortunate leg injury.
Colin's impressive challenge has combined the trek with the extra challenge of completing three peaks. He climbed Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis.
“A lad gave me 38 pence, which he said was his sweet money just because he heard the story,” says Bell in the video while wiping away a tear.
Bell did the trek to collect money for the charity ShelterBox, which provides temporary shelter and life-saving supplies to displaced families.
