A ferry that ran aground near Cowes on the Isle of Wight amid heavy fog is tugged back to shore.

The Red Funnel ferry crashed into several yachts moored in the harbour in East Cowes before hitting land early in the morning.

Footage filmed by Madeline Paterson shows small tugs next to the large ferry.

The RLNI sent out multiple boats to look for people in the water but these were later called back to port.

According to the coastguard, no one is injured or missing.
