Nonprofit group sends thousands of free pizza nationwide to hungry voters waiting in long lines on Election Day
Nonprofit group Pizza to the Polls is helping to keep voters stuck in long lines fed and satisfied this Election Day.
This video, filmed at Michigan State University on November 6, shows volunteers handing out free pizza to voters.
Many are taking pictures and videos of the long lines at their polling stations and giving their addresses to Pizza to the Polls, its volunteers helping to dispatch the free food accordingly. The nonprofit is also inviting the public to request for pizza to be sent to their locations on their website, as well as asking for donations to fund the dough.
