Tightrope walkers re-enact famous wedding photo
A bizarre video has emerged of two tightrope walkers re-enacting the famous photograph ‘Tightrope Walkers’ Wedding’.
The video, captured on Saturday in Toulouse, France, shows Paul-Antoine and Rémy, two tightrope walkers from a local club, recreating the famous picture taken by photographer Jean Dieuzaide 60 years ago.
They were joined in the stunt by the mayor of Toulouse and a fake priest to celebrate their mock union 12 metres above the ground.
Photographer Jean Dieuzaide became famous for his pictures of Charles de Gaulle after the Liberation of Paris, as well as his portraits of Salvador Dali.
