These were the menacing scenes in a popular London nighttime destination as gangs of young men charged each other with knives, oblivious to anything around them.

The footage, captured in Shoreditch on Sunday morning (November 18), shows the shocking behaviour as the filmer watches from his car.

Ricky Shea Lancaster, who filmed the event, said: "We were stuck in traffic when a fight breaks out outside our cab.

“The fight instantly erupts into a brawl to which people start wielding knives, stabbing and slicing one another.

“We saw at least three large combat knives be wielded and used."

Lancaster later added: "As we drove away the fight appeared to get bigger and I stopped recording. Five minutes later into traffic the police drove past."

Me (Ricky Shea Lancaster) and my friend / business partner Lucian Lindsay-Miles were getting a taxi from Shoreditch to Dalston on Saturday night. We were stuck in traffic when a fight breaks out outside our cab, the fight instantly erupts in to a brawl to which people start wielding knives and stabbing / slicing one another. We saw atleast 3 large combat knives be wielded and used. As we drove away the fight appeared to get bigger and I stopped recording. 5 mins later in to traffic the police drove past.
