TV viewers left startled after a ball of fire hit a news anchor during a live debate on a news channel in Pakistan

Viewers were startled after a ball of fire fell on a news anchor while he was live on a debate show at a news channel in Pakistan.

In the visuals, the anchor can be heard questioning a panellist when suddenly a ball of fire falls on him. The anchor gets up immediately to escape getting any burns.

In the video, the anchor can be heard asking, “Do you think it’s easy for extremists to cross the border in a group?”

As he questions his panellist a large cracking sound can be heard in the background. Within moments, a ball of fire lands on him. He immediately jumps off his chair to dodge the fireball.

While the anchor is seen out of the camera frame, the panellist continues to answer him oblivious to what just happened.

It was not known from where the fireball had appeared but the video that was shared on the social media has garnered a lot of reactions.

A user by the name Vinayaka said, “It is really a hot discussion.” Another user hilariously commented, “How dare you ask me such a question? You just got fired!”

A user named Jose said, “I had only heard ‘Pants on fire’ I just saw one.”

While the administration and crew of the news channel are still trying to find out the source of the fireball.
