Yuki the seven-year-old Border Collie got confused when he tried to play with a human-like statue.

The funny video filmed on December 9 shows Yuki running over to a statue in a park in Geneva dropping his toy down in front of it and trying to play.

Anastasiia, Yuki’s owner, told Newsflare: "I found it very funny, because my dog really believed if he proposed the toy more times, the statue (would) finally give up and throw it. I was starting to believe that it can actually happen!"

In the clip, Anastasiia can be heard saying in Russian: “So, you think it might play? Oh no, she doesn't want to play with you? No, she doesn't want to, does she, huh? Stupid statue, it doesn't understand that a dog is offering to play. Try again, maybe it will agree this time. Still a 'no'?”

We were walking in the park with friends and my border collie. At some point I was bored to throw him a toy. I was making pictures of my friends and heard a strange nose behind - my dog was proposing a statue to play with him because we didn't!
