Chicken strut: Vietnam-raised bird has the most humungous legs
This chicken in Vietnam has an enormous pair of legs. The rare and unique bird is known as the "Đông Tảo" chicken or "Dragon Chicken".
The animals are primarily raised in Hung Yen Province, Vietnam and quite difficult to support, so their numbers are still quite small.
Their red skin and giant legs, as well as their above-average weight (3-6kg) makes them stand out from regular chickens. The price of the chicken depends on its legs, and those with bigger legs are sold at higher prices. If they are true behemoths, they can be sold for as much as $1,500.
The chicken in the video is about 18 months old, which means it would cost around $600.
