A massive fire broke out at an under-construction hospital in Nagpur, causing burn injuries to seven, two of them reported to be critical.
Thick black column of smoke could be seen rising from the building on the Kingsway road. As many as 10 fire tenders were pressed into the service to douse the blaze.

According to fire officials, a short circuit might have triggered the fire.

"Fire is under control now, search operation is underway. The fire could have been caused due to a short circuit as construction work was underway at the building," Fire Officer Sunil Raut told news agency ANI.
