The deadliest and most destructive fire in California history erupted at dawn Thursday, November. 8Th in the Sierra foothills northeast of Chico, and within minutes, stiff winds whipped it into a fire storm like no other. The Camp Fire, centered in Paradise, California devoured 10 football-field-size chunks of terrain every minute. The wind driven flames rampaged through Butte County neighborhoods. With little to no warning, residents fled the town of Paradise and surrounding villages down the few car-choked escape routes, many never had a chance. More than a week later, the blaze continued to burn as officials log the -increasing tallies of devastation: Scores dead, hundreds missing, and more than 11,000 homes destroyed. The video will depict the aftermath of the fire two months after the start of the fire. Homes and business were burnt to the ground; vehicles were unrecognizable and street recognition impossible. Video will depict the damage along the main road in and out of Paradise and several of the side streets.
