A CCTV camera has captured a striking moment when a police man saved a man’s life as he pulled him away from the moving train. This 55 year old man lost his grip and fell off the footboard while boarding a train.
This incident happened at around 2 in the afternoon, when the Bangalore passenger train had departed from Hospet railway station in Karnataka state which is located in the southern part of India.

In the short video, the train is seen to have started moving slowly from the platform when the old man with a big bag tried to board the train, lopsided and fell off. The man looks rather lean and weak.

The policeman who was on duty at that time was strolling on the platform when he saw the man alighting the train. The policeman spotted the boarding passenger and walked right behind him as if he had anticipated the fall. The elderly man slipped and fell off the train on to the platform and his feet got stuck. But as soon as he fell off the train, the cop ran towards him and pulled him from away, preventing him from coming under the train.
