An amazing video has emerged of a cyclist forgiving a driver who crashed into him in Boston, MA, US on Wednesday.

The footage, filmed by Lucas Brunelle on his helmet-mounted camera, captures the moment the van turned across his path, causing him to catapult forward onto the wet road.

Amazingly, he lands on his feet and, speaking about the accident, he says: “I was taught how to crash at the Olympic Training center and it paid off here.”

Lucas then walks over to the driver, tells him he is fine and wishes him a “happy Wednesday”.

Commenting on his reaction, Lucas later wrote online: "If you’re in an accident and lucky enough that nothing happens to either person – be thankful!"
