The WAG experiment (Pretending to be a famous footballer)

An amusing video has emerged of two pranksters performing a 'WAG experiment' to find out whether women they approach would be more interested in dating them if they claimed to be professional footballers.

The prank, created by YouTube group ‘Woody and Kleiny’, captures the moment a girl agrees to go on a lunch date with Kleiny after he pretends to be a famous football star.

After initially rejecting Kleiny's advances, the girl becomes interested when Woody - masquerading as a member of the public - approaches the two and starts professing his admiration for fictional footballer 'Jonny Bants'.

The girl, realising she may have turned down a celebrity, suddenly overrides her previous excuses and agrees to the date.

Kleiny then reveals the prank to her – much to her embarrassment.

Concluding their findings, the pair claim the “moral of the story is…accept people for who they are, not what they do for a living.”
