Approximately 15 fishermen boats were gutted by fires at Muara Baru Port in Northern Jakarta, Indonesia, yesterday evening (February 23).

The scale of the fire forced Jakarta's Fire Department to send 23 of their vehicles to combat the fire, which is believed to have been caused by a short circuit from a machine working on one of the boats.

There have been four reported injured, but no deaths as a result of the fire, though police are questioning eyewitnesses for any further information.

Muara Baru Port is a special port for traditional fishermen to dock their boats, and is also known as "fishermen village".
