This was the shocking moment a terrace house in the Wavertree area of Liverpool was engulfed in flames and smoke today (April 5).

The filmer, who works at Rose Court, was walking past Barrington Road when they caught sight of the inferno.

They told Newsflare that they heard "screams", and shortly after two fire engines and an ambulance arrived.

A spokesman for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service stated: “All persons have been accounted for.”

Local reports said the fire service were on the scene six minutes after they were initially called.
