Amazing footage has emerged of a five-year-old boy surfing a huge wave off the coast of Hawaii.

The video shows Steve Roberson, the youngest of three talented siblings, riding waves twice his size at Honolua Bay, Maui.

The surfing prodigy, dubbed 'Baby Steve' by the local surfing community, has only been surfing for four years, but glides effortlessly across the swell.

Steve, along with twin brothers Justin and Eric, make up the 'Roberson Brothers', coached by pro surfer father Kaleo Roberson.

According to their Facebook page, the trio are "your worst nightmare and your adorable angels all rolled up into one huge ball of laughs and chaos."

Although the footage was captured in October, it has only recently emerged online.
