Baby seals go for a boat ride after being stranded on shore in South Africa

Researchers in South Africa were out on a shark tagging trip when they got a radio call requiring their assistance. Strong winds and swell had pushed over 150 baby seals off their island and onto shore. The island where they reside is situated approximately 2km from shore but the seal pups were too weak to swim back by themselves. The team decided to load the seals into their boat and drop them back off at the island with their mothers. After 3 trips, all seals were successfully reloacted back to their island. A very rare and adorable situation!
