This man was spotted on New York's subway wearing a hat which requested fellow commuters to wake him up before he reached his destination.

The technologically advanced hat had text scrolling across the front it which read: "Wake me up before I go go...past 34th Street."

John, who filmed this video, told Newsflare: "I look down and see this hat and say 'wow this is cool!'. I took out my camera and posted it to my story."

This footage was captured on Friday, April 19.

I had just switched cars on the F train because a woman was having a meltdown, throwing up into a plastic bag (just another morning commute). Me and a group of people switched cars. I say to this guy, wow that was crazy, and then look down and see this hat and say “wow this is cool.” Took out my camera, posted it to my story.
