Raging torrents flow through the streets of Dallas-Fort Worth in North Texas after the region received around four inches of rain on Tuesday night. More downpours are expected today, Wednesday April 24.
Flash flood warnings are in place around the Dallas-Fort Worth area through Wednesday evening as another inch of rain is expected in the region.
Sparger Park on Bedford Rad was completely submerged under water due to the excessive downpour and several streets in the area have been closed.
Footage shows a street transformed into a powerful river as thunder and lightning can still be seen and heard rumbling through the night sky. The filmer stands under an awning and pans left to right showing the extent of the surrounding floods.
According to the National Weather Service Collin County received 3.5 inches, Denton 2.66 inches and Tarrant County got 2.6 inches.
