Buy video

A mother duck was guiding her flock of babies through a grassy garden when suddenly a crow swooped down, snatching one, and flew off.

Shot on April 26 near Le Bons Villers, Belgium the filmer can be heard gasping as she sees nature take its course and the baby duck is taken away from its mother.

The group form a queue to get through a fence to meet their mother on the other side but unfortunately one was caught out by the upstart crow.

The duckling can be seen as still conscious and flailing its feet while the crow has it clasped in its beak.
