Meeting a hero
The young woman in the video struggled with depression a few years ago. One day while walking to the bridge to end her life, she reached out to a name and number she had seen on Twitter of someone who would help you if you were suicidal. That person was me. Although I was hundreds of miles away, I was able to talk her off the ledge, literally, and get her help. A year later, I SURPRISED her at Christmas time so we could finally meet.
