After a two-month-stint studying abroad, a student returning to her family home in Peru was greeted by the pup she had left behind.

Valeria Cornejo, who had left Lima to study in New York on August 4, 2018, had returned in late September the same year to find that one of her golden retriever pups, Sunset, had gotten a lot bigger and was unbelievably happy to see her.

Sunset can be seen leaping into Cornejo's arms and squealing with canine happiness seeing his human come home to him.

She commented: "When I had to leave for the workshop Sunset was only 4 months old, he just got his shots he was truly a little baby and puppies grow so fast!"

I left Perú, my hometown on August for a couple months to go study a filmmaking workshop in New York Film Academy (New York) Im a dog lover, I have 4 dogs, 3 labs and a golden retriever, but you get to see only 3 in the video (Ambar is the yellow lab, Walker is the black lab and Sunset is the golden retriever puppy) when I had to leave for the workshop Sunset was only 4 months old, he just got his shots he was truly a little baby and puppys grow so fast!!!
He was this size when I left, when I came back he was twice as big, and I missed him and all my dogs so much, Ive never left my house for so long, when I arrived to my house they all came downstairs and were crazy happy I picked him up (Sunset) and he was shaking and crying of happiness, it was the sweetest thing, I missed them all so much.

I left when my dog was a puppy(4 months old) he was a baby, next to me the whole time, when I left I guess he was scared he wouldnt see me again, and when I came back he was the most excited and happy
