Mets Fans protest was held today, June 4th 2019 at 5pm in Upper East Side Manhattan.

Angry fans rallied against Tom Brady at Sojourn Restaurant at 244 E79th Street in Manhattan, New York . They threw black beans and Tom's photo and jersey and threw Brady memorabilia into garbage.
They say his move to copyright the iconic nickname of Tom Seaver, "Tom Terrific" is tasteless and insensitive.
Seaver is battling dementia and retired from the public eye earlier this year. Boomer Esiason, a former NFL quarterback now working as an analyst and TV/radio personality, even ripped Brady’s trademark effort as “sleazy”.

Former first baseman Ed Kranepool and right fielder Art Shamsky donned Mets hats, flashed their championship rings, and spoke of the legacy Tom Seaver leaves behind.
