Mammatus Clouds Over Wascana Lake

Buy video

June 6, 2019
Wascana Lake in Regina, Saskatchewan was the scene for a slowing growing supercell just south of the city this afternoon. As the cell grew larger and began to move east, powerful mammatus clouds could be seen. After chasing storm cells all afternoon, this and only a few drops of rain were notable. It would be interesting to see what the storm looked like from the south but it seemed to veer straight east instead of into the city from the south west.
