Impressive Xhosa singing in South Africa
A cool video has emerged of two waitresses performing a traditional Xhosa song at a wine farm near Cape Town, South Africa on Tuesday.
The two were filmed performing a duet in the language renowned for using clicking sounds to articulate a number of consonants.
The performance was made during a wine tasting experience at the Vergenoegd wine estate.
Since being posted online, the video has received many positive responses, with many admiring the singing ability of the two.
Xhosa is spoken by approximately 7.6 million people, or about 18% of the South African population, but is not the only language to use similar clicking sounds in speech.
