Delivery rider caught on camera casually stealing towel from outside apartment
This is the shocking moment a delivery rider wearing a Grab t-shirt casually steals a resident's t-shirt.
CCTV caught the thief lifting the towel form a clothesline outside an apartment unit in Bedok Reservoir, Singapore on July 2.
House owner Muhd Ismail said that the man does not live in the apartment building and seemed to have delivered something to his neighbours.
Ismail, who captured the crime on his home CCTV system, said: ''I don't know why he took the towel from my clothesline. I think that is very rude. I hope Grab does something about this. It reflects bad on them as well."
Grab previously condoned the theft and said that it investigating the case.
The company, which runs a ride hailing and food delivery app in Asia, said today (08/07) that the man in the footage did not work for them.
They said in a statement: "The person wearing a GrabFood shirt in the said video is not a GrabFood delivery partner, we are working closely with the authorities on this matter."
Last month a GrabFood rider was caught on camera casually stealing a pair of shoes while delivering to a home in Singapore.
