A doctor in Ha Nam province, Vietnam removed a butterfly from inside the ear canal of a man.

The patient had arrived at the clinic complaining about ear pain and claimed that an insect had entered his ear.

Upon exploration, Dr. Tuan found a tiny butterfly inside the man's ear canal.

Footage shows the doctor using a pair of tweezers to remove the insect from the patient's ear on July 13.

According to the doctor, Dr. Tuan said that The man came to the clinic and said there was an animal living in his ear. It got into his ear about three days ago.
After using the endoscopic device, the doctor found a large butterfly in the man's ear. The butterfly has completely blocked the man's ear canal. It seems the butterfly entered the man's ear and was stuck in the ear canal. This is a type of butterfly that works at night. The butterfly releases a substance that can cause itching to the skin.
The man said that he was moving on the road when suddenly his ears hurt. In order to reduce the pain, he poured water into his ear to make the butterfly die. Then his ears felt very itchy that made him go to the doctor.
He is surprised when the doctor takes the giant butterfly out of his ear. He didn't think the giant butterfly could get into his ears.
The butterfly secreted the substance that made the man's ear itch. Thankfully, it didn't get deep into the man's ears.
