A tourist holds up a mirror to mother monkeys with their babies who watch themselves and poke at their reflections in Lopburi, Thailand.

The filmer lost the mirror during the interaction on July 14, when a more dominant monkey took it away from the families admiring themselves.

While attempting to film the animals the filmer nearly lost some of their belongings, saying: "I also almost lost my reading glasses! Two different tourists that were here on that day lost their glasses to these monkeys."

Lopburi city is known as the monkey capital of Thailand. The monkeys run wild and free here, and will haul away anything that they can get their hands on. I brought a few mirrors with me in order to get some shots of them looking into the mirrors, but the mirrors were not returned to me! I also almost lost my reading glasses too! Two different tourists that were here on that day lost their glasses to these monkeys.
