This video was taken on the top of Cascade Mountain which is located in the Bow Valley of Banff National Park, adjacent to the town of Banff.On this hike the objective is to achieve the 2,998 m (9,836 foot) summit of Cascade Mountain, by ascending gross vertical elevation of about 1,524 m (5,000 feet) and the summit overlooks the town site, Lake Minnewanka and provides a 360 degree view of the surrounding Rocky Mountains and highway one which is located in bow valley park , Banff National Park
Its' brilliantly aquamarine glacial lakes and the majestic Canadian Rockies are plenty enough reason, but add in wildlife (elk, deer and bears, oh my!), mouthwatering food (hello, Alberta beef!), top-notch pampering, and more, and Banff should top everyone's wanderlust list. -- Karen Kwan
