A video has emerged of rescue officials rescuing a dog whose head got stuck in a plastic jar in southern India.

The incident took place on Aug. 21 in Nacharam town, located in Telangana state's Hyderabad district.

Visual shows the officials trying to pull out the canine's head from the jar.

The dog is seen wrapped inside a rescue net. The rescue officials try to pull out the lid of the jar with the help of the net.

The canine was struggling very hard even to breathe.

The dog can be seen squirming on the ground.

After several attempts, the rescue officials finally manage to pull out the canine's head from the jar.

The dog then leaps and flee the spot.

The dog was drinking water from the jar before its head got stuck.
