Flooding in Eastern Nassau Bahamas

Buy video

Video taken today on the eastern side of Nassau Bahamas, the park is completely flooded and we’re still experiencing hurricane/tropical storm winds and rain. These are the outer band effects of hurricane Dorian.

It has been devastating to say the least. The Bahamas has never experienced such ferocity of a hurricane. While Nassau was not directly hit, we continue to feel the effects of the outer bands of the hurricane with wind gusts and flooding. The king tide that occured is also partially responsible for most of the flooding along with the relentless rain

I am feeling physically sick to my stomach seeing the videos, hearing the voice notes and seeing images of Bahamians in Abaco and Grand Bahama crying for help
