Highliner slips and only avoids death thanks to safety rope
I have been an avid slack-liner for years now, so I was extremely excited when I heard about an opportunity to increase the stakes and try a high-line. I was terrified out there, at least 50 ft up from a harsh rocky landing, but I had my mind set that I would at least try to stand up. Nobody told me that when I fell, it would be a terrifying head first plummet followed by a whip around. I made it out completely fine with a funny story to tell. Lesson learned!
