A bizarre video has emerged of a man getting a cobra snake bite on his tongue in northern India.

The incident took place on Sept. 19 near Chhutmalpur village in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur district.

Visuals showed the man catching a snake by its tail and twirling it around.

The venomous snake was seen dunking at the man, however, it missed.

The man later put it down.

Meanwhile, another video showed the man holding the snake's head and forcing it to bite his tongue.

The man was seen showing his tongue to others while confirming it.

He also spat a few times.

Reports identified the man as Wasim, 35. It said he was addicted to snake bites and would often indulge in it.

After the snake bit him, Wasim fell unconscious and was rushed to the hospital.

Unfortunately, the cobra bite proved too powerful for him and he died.
