Medical miracle: Baby born with four legs and three hands in India
A mother in India has given birth to a baby girl with four legs and three hands.
Doctors think the child was part of a set of triplets - two of whom became joined together during the pregnancy.
According to local media, the mother, identified as Raju Devi, gave birth to twins on Friday in the Tonk district of Rajasthan.
While the boy was born healthy, the girl had the extra limbs.
Dr. Rohiteesh Meena, who operated on the woman, said the girl has minor breathing issues but was in a stable condition after she was put on oxygen support.
The girl will be referred to another hospital in Jaipur where she will undergo surgery.
According to local media, the parents had no scans during the pregnancy so were unaware that they were expecting twins or that there were any complications.
