Hong Kong protesters commemorating the fifth anniversary of the umbrella movement were met with water cannon fired by police on Saturday (September 28).

As protesters threw bricks and petrol bombs, riot police launched their water canons which sprayed water and blue dyed liquid meshed with an irritating agent. Filmed with GoPro 7 on Harcourt Road overpass on 28 September 2019.

Hong Kong Protesters run away in a stampede as they flee riot police after incidents between protesters and police near the Government complex.

After riot police cleared the protesters from Government offices, protesters blocked traffic on Queensway, to facilitate escape of fellow protesters.

Protesters start taking materials from a construction site to build barricades on Harcourt road, near to the site of a pro-democracy rally, in Hong Kong. Five years ago, the "Umbrella movement" in Hong Kong started pretty much in the same way. Later in the evening, the protesters were cleared from the area with water canons and tear gas.
