This is the scary moment two monkeys attack an unsuspecting biker in northern India.

The incident, which was captured on CCTV cameras, took place on Sept. 18 in Mathura, a popular tourism destination among international tourists in the state Uttar Pradesh.

Visuals show a group of monkeys wandering in the street as the rider park his motorcycle and gets busy with his work of loading new sewing machines on his bike.

Suddenly, a young monkey attacks the man from behind, throwing him off guard.

After he manages to successfully repel the attack, a second monkey launches itself on the man, toppling the boxes.

The man also picks up a box and retaliates, but the monkey runs away anyway.

This is not an isolated incident and is one of the many incidents caused by the primates in the tourist city.

The monkey menace has intensified so much that people have been forced to keep an air gun to keep the primates at bay.

In the wake of recurring monkey attacks, the local lawmakers have promised to 'draw up a plan soon to end the monkey menace forever'.
