A Halloween obsessed couple has transformed their home into a terrifying haunted house for the thirteenth year in a row.

William and Roslyn Howson, in Motherwell, Scotland, began the spooky attraction in 2006 and have welcomed hundreds of guisers over the years.

It takes the pair eight weeks to get their house ready for the Halloween display - unpacking 40 boxes of decorations, bought from as far away as Japan and America.

William, 64, and wife Roslyn, 57, started the tradition after throwing a Halloween party for their grandson’s fifth birthday in 2006.
