Elvis the cat showed off his reluctance to go for a walk with his owners by making them drag him along the floor, while mildly flapping his feet to pretend to walk.

Filmed at his owner's home in Gresham, Oregon on October 16, the black cat can be seen in his harness being dragged along an indoor corridor, until he is picked up and carried to the door.

The filmer commented: "Elvis is a very spoiled cat who does not like going for walks. Once in his harness, he refuses to walk and lays on the ground. To encourage exercise, we try to walk forward showing him the way outside.

So much for outdoor enrichment."
