Massive lake surge (seiche) floods towns along Lake Erie in Canada and severely floods these houses in the town of Wainfleet, people had to be evacuated and rescued by the local fire department as the lake overflowed into the town during extreme wind storm which pushed the water from lake Erie onto the shore and into town.

Maximum wind gusts reported by ECCC and NWS sites in #Niagara region last night. Only unofficial site is Welland PWS which seems to report winds better than ECCC site at Welland airport #onstorm
