Adorable rescued flamingo chick getting fed

Over 2,000 flamingo chicks were abandoned by their parents because of a terrible drought, as the dam dried up. The chicks got split and sent to four rehabilitation centers, but they were extremely young, very weak and dehydrated, so many didn't even survive the trip.
They received round the clock care, and started growing stronger. Since they are still very little, they still need to be fed formula, which has to be delivered straight into their bill with the use of a syringe. As they put on weight, they start getting fed more and more formula, and are also introduced to a special food that is put the water for them to eat by themselves.
The carers wear pink shirts and black gloves to mimic their parents and avoid imprinting.
