Indian cow makes habit to take rest inside cloth shop in southern east India.

A cow has made it a habit to take rest inside a cloth stores, since almost 6 months. This strange incident is seen in Mydukur town of Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh India.

P Obaiah is running ’Sri Sairam cloth show room’ in local textile market in Mydukur town. One fine day in the summer this year; a cow entered into his shop. Astonished with the strange behaviour of the cow, shop owner Obaiah tried to send the cow out. But it did not budge. The cow took rest for 2/3 hours in the shop, and later it went out on its own. From then onwards, the cow made it a habit to go into the shop daily, since almost past six months.

Obaiah said that “at first we were bewildered with the cow entering our shop. We tried to send it out but the animal did not go away. It took shelter for few hours and later it left on its own. From then onwards, the animal made it a daily practice to come to our shop. At first we thought that our business would be affected. But in fact, the sales increased. Interestingly, it never spoiled the shop premises.”

Obaiah’s wife considered cow coming regularly into their shop as a good omen, and she started offering prayer to the cow daily. Locals are also habituated to the cow stepping into the shop.
