This was the moment thousands of football fans illuminated a stadium with flares when the Vietnamese football team won gold at the South East Asian Games (SEAG) on December 10.

The match between Vietnam and Indonesia, which ended 3-0, was live on a big screen at Lach Tray Stadium in Hai Phong City, Vietnam.

The SEAG is a biennial regional multi-sport event which is being held in the Philippines from 30 November to 11 December 2019.

The 2019 Southeast Asian Games officially known as the 30th Southeast Asian Games or 2019 SEA Games. This is a biennial regional multi-sport event which is being held in the Philippines from 30 November to 11 December 2019.

Vietnam football team participates and enters the final match with the Indonesia football team on December 10. At the end of the match, the Vietnamese football team won 3-0 against the Indonesia football team.

This is the first gold medal that the Vietnamese football team has won in Southeast Asian Games. This is considered a historical gold medal of the football team in many times attending the tournament.

Thousands of people went to Lach Tray Stadium to watch the Vietnamese team play through a giant screen. When the team won, they lit the stadium with flares and fireworks.
