Footage, from October 2018, captures a rodent contentiously scurrying around in circles on a roadside in Kon Tum, Vietnam.

However, the reasons behind this behaviour could be upsetting.

According to the filmer, he discovered the mouse on the road moving in a strange way. Instead of moving in a straight line, this mouse was rotating in a circle. The mouse didn't stop when it saw the man and continued moving in the circle before disappearing behind the bushes.

British Veterinary Association told Newsflare: "This does not look like a happy rodent.

"There could be a number of possibilities as to why it is behaving like this, including, but not limited to inner ear defect, viral infections or mycotoxin poisoning."
