Santiago, Chile, has continued to stay strong during its two-month protest against President Sebastián Piñera on Friday (December 27).

Anger continued to brew on the streets of the capital, Santiago, on Friday, with protesters clashing with police.

During the protests, at least 26 people were killed in clashes with security forces and looting.

Piñera signed a decree on Friday that set the date for a referendum on April 26, 2020.

"Once again, the citizens can decide with pen and paper which path our country should take," Piñera said.

Chile will decide in April whether they want a new constitution.

The police are shooting in the face. During two months of protests, there are already more than 300 people with exploded eyeballs. In the streets there are many volunteer doctors who are trying to help the hundreds injured.
