Tens of thousands of people marched though the streets of Glasgow today (January 11th), calling for Scottish independence.

At one point during the march, demonstrators faced off against anti-independence protesters wielding Union Flags.

The march was organised by the group, All Under One Banner, “due to exceptional political circumstances”.

It comes several days after Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon asked British PM Boris Johnson for powers to hold another referendum on independence from the rest of the UK.
