What do you get when you combine an adorably clueless toddler with a little old lady?...This HILARIOUSLY EPIC home made Halloween costume, that’s what!


Put a Grandma wig on a toddler and give her a walker and I will guarantee that hilarity will ensue! Just as it did when we dressed my daughter, at just 11 months old, as a “Little Old Lady” for Halloween.

This adorable costume was the perfect DIY project for a toddler or small child. It was inexpensive and super easy to put together. All of the clothing was purchased at a thrift store then tailored to fit my daughter. The accessories (wig, glasses and glasses chain) were items that belonged to my grandmother (making sure to punch out the lenses of the glasses). The walker was made out of PVC pipes (spray painted silver) and the small wheels were added to make pushing it easier for my daughter.

Making homemade costumes was a large part of my childhood and something we always had a lot of fun with. I am excited to be able to share this tradition with my daughter.
