Seal pup injured by ghost netting off UK's west coast is released back into the wild
This heartwarming video shows a seal pup that was badly injured by ghost netting being realised back into the wild on January 20.
The young seal, nicknamed Joker, was found with deep wounds in its neck caused by discarded fishing equipment.
He was rescued by kind-hearted volunteers when he was just 10-weeks-old on December 14 near Newquay, Cornwall.
Joker was then taken to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary where he was nursed back to health and was released back into the wild.
